Scholarship America's Dreamkeepers program provides emergency financial assistance to students at community colleges across the country who are faced with unexpected financial crises. These awards -- averaging $500 -- often make the difference between staying in school and dropping out. In the video above, you'll hear from Scholarship America and college administrators, and a few of the students who have been able to keep working toward their dreams thanks to Dreamkeepers.

August 2, 2010: Scholarship America Announces the 13 Additional Schools Selected for Dreamkeepers Program

May 27, 2010: WEWS-TV in Cleveland OH featured Dreamkeepers by telling the story of Brigitte Gibson, a recent graduate of Lorain County Community College in Elyria, OH, thanks to Dreamkeepers. Watch the video.
